"I consider myself an expert on all matters concerning boggits. The boggit itself is a small, odd creature, given to foraging and burrowing. Under normal circumstances it fears humans, but it can be incited to great violence when under the influence of magical objects. Rings, in particular, seem to excite them."

Boggits are bogan offspring[1] and the smallest type, found in the Blood Marsh. They reguarly feel the wrath of the Bogan Brutes.[2] Boggits are small, and are prone to foraging and burrowing. Under normal circumstances they fear humans, but can be incited to great violence when under the influence of magical objects (rings in particular).

Boggits are sentient to some extent, and worship their deity of fire known only as The Wickerman.[3]

In-game[]

Boggits

A horde of charging Boggits

Boggits appear as foes in Act V of Diablo III.[2] They are summoned to the field by the Bogan Brute and are literally thrown at players. They are found in the Blood Marsh and Paths of the Drowned.

Boggits can be picked up by Terror Bats, be bitten, and turned into Bogan Brutes.[4]

Overall, Boggits are weak, but fast, and attack in large numbers. Their weapon is their claws and teeth.
