This spell summons a barrier created from the bones of fallen warriors. The armor revolves around the Necromancer, protecting him against all attacks. Although enchanted, the armor does take damage and will eventually crumble.

Bone Armor is a useful defensive skill early in the game, but will quickly become obsolete as many Necromancers tend to attack from a distance rather than in close quarters. The only exceptions are with Necromancers who specialize in close combat, such as the Daggermancer.
Bone Armor can be extremely helpful in absorbing Physical Damage, preventing attacks from potentially killing you. If you have points to spare, spend some on Bone Armor. If monsters hit you, and your Mana is not low, re-cast your Bone Armor so it will be at maximum again. The shield does not have a limit on how much damage it may absorb per attack, but the total amount of damage soaked per cast is limited.
It should be noted that adding points into Bone Armor will increase the armor's damage limit by 10 for each level, while adding core points into the synergies Bone Wall and Bone Prison increases the armor durability by 15. Many Necromancers who wish to invest in Bone Armor will only add one point into Bone Armor, since it is much more beneficial and practical to add to the synergies instead. Additionally, adding to Bone Prison or Bone Wall would also increase Teeth, Bone Spear, and Bone Spirit damage, while adding to Bone Armor alone would only increase the life of Bone Walls and Prisons, and the Mana cost to cast the armor.
