The climate of Sanctuary varies greatly from zone to zone. The climate is influenced by many factors, leading to diverse ecosystems and cultures.

[edit] Khanduras
Khanduras has a temperate climate which is characterized by generally cloudy skies and considerable rainfall. Usually rainfall is accompanied by lightning and thunder.
[edit] Aranoch
Aranoch, the land in which Lut Gholein is located, has desert climate, owing it to the mountain ranges that prevent rainfall. Temperatures are usually very high during the day. There are indications that maybe the desert wasn't always as unforgiving, ruins of temples and villages being scattered throughout it. Also notable are the oases in this region.
[edit] Kehjistan
Kehjistan's climate in the area around Kurast is warm and with frequent rainfall. This makes for a thick jungle, home to a wide variety of plant and animal life. The map of Sanctuary shows that the northern regions of Kehjistan, are deserts, being the same color as the land of Aranoch. This is also compounded by the fact that the area surrounding Caldeum is shown to be desert.
[edit] Harrogath
Harrogath, being at a high altitude, had a cold climate, snowfall being common. It is not known how the explosion of Mount Arreat has affected the climate of this region.
