Dark Mage's Shade is a Legendary Wizard Hat for the Wizard in Diablo III. It requires character level 29 to drop.
It has a unique feature of automatically casting Diamond Skin whenever the Wizard is seriously wounded. This Diamond Skin has its own cooldown, separate from one of the Wizard's spell, if they have it. It benefits from runes of the original spell, if any.
