Remember that only a "Paladin Only" shield works for this Rune Word. Although this is a tad expensive, it is very rewarding and is one of the best Runes for creating Paladin shields.
Any stats on the shield used to combine with the Rune will stay on the shield after the Exile has been created. This Rune is especially effective on an Ethereal Shield, as the runeword allows the item to repair itself over time.
