Chris Amaral is a member of Blizzard Entertainment. He currently holds the position of lead artist.[1]
Biography[]
Before joining the games industry, Chris worked as a toy sculptor at McFarlane toys, where he had the opportunity to work on a variety of figures, including those in the Dark Ages Spawn: The Viking Age line, Texas Chainsaw 18” Leatherface, Shrek, and McFarlane's Sports Picks.
Amaral joined Blizzard Entertainment in 2006. Prior to this, he served as a character artist on The Lord of the Rings Online, Dungeons & Dragons Online, and the Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter expansion.
He served as a senior character artist on Team 3. He worked in modeling and texturing of a diverse visual range of characters and creatures, with a focus on the enemies and bosses.[2]
Amaral worked on the development of Diablo II: Resurrected.[3]
