Fallen Ones debut in Diablo I as a type of Fallen enemy. Here, they are only represented by the standard Fallen Imp. However there is a bigger brute version in the Hellfire expansion.
Most Fallen Ones carry a sword and shield, though some carry spears. They are divided into several variations: Carvers, Devil Kin and Dark Ones.
They nearly always attack in large numbers, trying to surround the player and deliver fast blows that can be very deadly if left unchecked. However, killing any monster (not necessarily one of the Fallen) will cause all nearby Fallen to flee for a short time, running away in fear.
