Halo of Karini is a Legendary ring in Diablo III, added in patch 2.4.1. It requires character level 31 to drop.
With a maximum roll of 80%, the damage reduction granted by the Halo's unique affix is highest in the game from a single item, and the 15 yard distance isn't too hard to achieve by moving away from enemies periodically, making this a powerful damage reduction item for most Wizards.

- The Wizard takes 60-80% less damage for 5 seconds after their Storm Armor electrocutes an enemy more than 15 yards away.

Development[]
Originally, the graphics of this ring were used for Ashnagarr’s Blood Ring (which had its affix moved to Ashnagarr's Blood Bracer).
As of patch 2.4.1 and until 2.5.0, Halo of Karini had no description, being the only equippable Legendary item without one.
Before 2.6.1, it only worked in a really narrow range of 5 yards (30+ yards working radius vs 35 yards maximum range of Storm Armor).
