The Gidbinn

The Gidbinn, otherwise known as the Blade of the Old Religion, is an enchanted dagger, greatly valued by the followers of Skatsim. According to legend, Skatsimi priests placed great power within the small blade. Despite its size, it holds immense power when in the hands of a Skatsimi Mage.

The Gidbinn came into the possession of Zakarum, and by the 13th century, was one of the few remaining Skatsim relics. In 1264, it was retrieved by a group of heroes and given to Ormus, who used the blade to conduct a ritual to keep the demons encroaching on Kurast at bay. This was the last time the Gidbinn was seen.
