Ventar the Unholy was a minion of Baal.
During Baal's assault on Mount Arreat, Ventar was among those who guarded his master against the advance of those pursuing him. However, he was slain.[1]
Five years later, Ventar was somehow spawned from the Worldstone shards collected by a new hero/group of heroes, during their attempt to destroy them with Deckard Cain. Once again, Ventar was slain.[2]

Diablo II[]
Ventar the Unholy is a Super Unique Venom Lord (Baal) found in Baal's Throne of Destruction in Act V of Diablo II. He commands the fourth wave of minions summoned by Baal. Ventar represents Act IV in Baal's rundown before the final battle.

Diablo Immortal[]
Ventar appears as a boss in the "Fragments of the Past" quest in Diablo Immortal, spawned in the third and final wave of the Worldstne shards in Cain's workshop. He is accompanied by Destruction Spawn.
Ventar is immune to knockback, and in addition to melee, has the following attacks:
- Summons a bolt of lightning, doing area-of-effect damage
- Breathes fire, moving in a 90 degree arc
- Does a dash attack—the direction and width of the dash is indicated to the player before Ventar does it
