Yetis

Yeti are Wendigo variants well adapted to cold climates of Sanctuary.

Lore[]

Yetis are best identified by their snow-white fur and berserk manner. Driven mad by their exodus into the valleys of Khanduras, they assault anything in their way.[1] Yeti fur is particularly warm, well suited to protecting them from the chill of the Frozen Tundra.[2] Huge yetis sleep for long periods of time.[3]

Yetis have shown various levels of control over cold, with some being able to crystalize ice,[4] while others can imbue chill into snowballs they use as weapons.[5] They are coordinated hunters; during an attack, a few vanguards pelt their prey into immobility, while the rest move in, tear off pieces of their still-living victims and enjoy the warmth of their blood.[4]

In-game[]

Diablo II[]

Yetis are monsters in Diablo II. They can be found within the later parts of Act I in the Outer Cloister. Their tendency to attack in packs, coupled with their higher health and damage, can make them dangerous foes.
