Once she has learned the basic incantation of this spell, the Sorceress can collect a large amount of elemental fire and contain it within a globe of energy. Discharging it toward her enemy, those energies are released in a devastating explosion upon impact. This spell of mass destruction is ideal for bombarding the encampments of her enemies.

Fire Ball is one of the second-tier spells that the sorceress can learn. Though it is accessed relatively early, it can often be useful later in game as well.
An improved version of Fire Bolt, Fire Ball sends a large globe of fire at an enemy, which explodes upon impact. The radius of explosion is relatively small (only 1 yard), but if fired into large groups of small enemies, it often does quite a bit of effective damage.
Fire Ball benefits greatly from synergies. With maxed out synergies, Fire Ball is very competitive even in the end game in Hell Difficulty, potentially doing 10,000+ damage per hit with the right equipment. While its damage per hit is lower than the likes of Meteor or Fire Wall, it is far more easily controlled and has no casting delay, allowing it to be spammed.
