Forums: Index Archives Monster pages

I don't like the way monster info is structured: a page for each variation of a monster for each game. This spreads information too thinly across many pages. I see 2 solutions:

  1. Merge all pages for a particular monster and it's variations, having a separate page for each game. This would be similar to the way monster pages look on the Diablofans Wiki.
  2. Merge all pages on a particular monster and it's variation across all games. If this makes the pages too long, the main page can be about the lore surrounding each monster and the statistics can be on subpages or something like that.

I've always thought this wiki was lore-centric so I'm kinda leaning towards the second solution. Of course, the current system can be kept.- DanTalk 16:23, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Can I comment on this or is this admin-only domain?? :P Yeah, I also find that this wiki houses a LOT more lore than the others out there. I vote for 2 :P Not sure if I can help though. n00b alert IcenBolt 10:33, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, I'm the only active admin on this wiki and active is a bit of an overstatement, so if it were admin-only I'd be talking to myself. Any input is welcome. - DanTalk 15:23, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Hm. Yeah, I'd have to agree on the second solution. The way I see it, it also allows for readers to actually witness the evolution of certain monsters through the series too; it's be pretty neat to see how the Fallen Ones have changed over such a long time, for instance :]. Heck, I'd think having statistic tables of some sort would be small enough to fit on one page too. Sounds like a plan :D CCHoudini! My Talk 17:45, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
So, it seems we have reached a consensus. We can start merging pages.- DanTalk 17:58, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
