Goblin Defense is a cut event from Diablo III. It was designed during the second iteration of Challenge Mode, designed in reaction to positive reactions from the playerbase towards Treasure Goblins. It functions with various Goblins streaming towards a portal, with the player(s) trying to kill as many as possible before they escaped. The event was positively received from within the development team, with a sense of competition as to which player could kill the most Goblins.
