The Hellfire Ring is a craftable legendary ring in Diablo III. It requires character level 1 to be used, but its affixes roll as high as those of level 70 items. It also has seven affixes as opposed to usual six.
The ring, unlike its other variations, is a reward for players who do the Infernal Machine event at the level cap of 70. As such, this ring variation requires access to Reaper of Souls.
Note that while Hellfire Rings come in five variations, they are all called simply "Hellfire Ring".
The unique affix creates a 20 yard radius area of molten lava dealing 200% damage as Fire per second for 6 seconds. The area is created at the location of the character, not at the location of the target. Multiple applications from the same character do not stack.
