DescriptionEdit

A Paladin blessed with the power of this aura calls upon the power of the Light to strike forth at all enemies surrounding him. Divine bolts spring from the earth to smite the Paladin's enemies.

Although the minimum damage of Holy Shock is low, it has the most superior maximum and average damage out of the three pulse damage auras. Players investing heavily in this skill and its synergies can often simply walk by crowd of enemies and watch them all die without lifting a finger in Normal and Nightmare. Towards Hell this will likely no longer be the case, but the aura also adds an astronomical amount of lightning damage to weapon attacks, so when combined with a fast weapon (and perferably Zeal), the player can still easily cut through any enemies not immune to lightning.

There are also a few Items that give this Aura, including the Runeword Dream.
