UsageEdit

Lower Resist will lower the enemies' resistance to Fire, Lightning, Cold, and Poison; unlike Decrepify, it will not lower Physical Resistance. However, because of its effects, Lower Resist is extremely helpful in multiplayer situations, especially in combination with elemental fighters such as Sorceresses that find themselves stumped by monsters in Hell mode immune to certain spells. However, when breaking an immunity, Lower Resist will only work at 1/5 effectiveness. It is possible for an exceptionally powerful Lower Resist to bring an opponent's resistances into negative values, meaning that corresponding elemental damage against them is increased by that percentage. Lower Resist does not affect magical damage.

HistoryEdit

Simply put, this skill increases an enemy's susceptibility to the harsh effects of the elements and elemental magics. Skin burns like paper, chills cut to the bone, and lightning is drawn to the victim as if they were an iron bar in a rainstorm.
