Nooks and Crannies is an acheivement for dungeon exploration in Act II of Diablo III.

WalkthroughEdit

This walkthrough will show the general areas of where to find different dungeons in Act II.

Howling PlataeuEdit

Walk from Caldeum or take the waypoint to the Black Canyon Mines and walk south.

These spawn at 3 different spots: west, northeast and north/south.

This place spawns in the middle of the field after you talked to a wounded man if he is there. Also the place for "A Miner's Gold" event.

Black Canyon MinesEdit

Near the Black Canyon Mines waypoint.

This dungeon spawns in a deserted cellar directly west of the Black Canyon Mines waypoint. You have to kill an elite Rockworm in order to get acces to this dungeon.

Spawns at the north edge in the right corner or at the south edge to your right of the waypoint.

Spawns a bit north of the waypoint close to the road.

Stinging WindsEdit

Near the waypoint to Khasim Outpost. Near the 2 fields that are both in Stinging Winds.

Both spawn at 2 different spots: from portal to the left field stay at the right edge when you run down. The other spot is in the field to the right, when you enter the field go east directly.

can spawn at 4 different spots, 2 of them are the same spots of the Crumbling Vault and the others are in the west of field to the left and in the south west in the field to the right.

These can spawn in the middle of both maps, both of them become visible after you accepted a quest there or after killing some coven mobs, also the place for Restless Sands and Guardian Spirit events.

AlcarnusEdit

Near the waypoint to Alcarnus Road

Dahlgur OasisEdit

The waypoint to Path of the Oasis and start from the south. This field is huge, a lot going on here.

In the southern region of the map at 4 different spawnspots but fairly close to eachother.

At the edge on the map on the east, halfway up.

Spawns in the middle of both fields, also the place for several events.

Will pop up after saving a merchant and he will give a quest to let you enter. Two spawnspots: Follow the edge in the south and find the nook thats halfway the southern edge. ALSO same in the northern field, follow the south edge, same story.

  • Tomb of Sardar (not needed for achie, will open for you after you pulled a lever)

These can spawn all over the place. In the southern field: halfway map in the west, top corner northwest, two spots close to the passage to the northern field. In the northern field: southwest corner, top corner west, halfway map west, in the middle north.

In the northern field at the left edge west.

Northern edge then north east.

Desolate SandsEdit

Near waypoint to Desolate Sands

Six spawnspots for these dungeons. In the south, west on 1/4 of the map, in the middle below the "gap", at the right of the "gap", at the left of the "gap" (most common spot for Burrowing Horror), in the east on 3/4 of the map.

These are two of the ten experiences you can get from the wheel of misfortune. This ancient device can spawn in the south below the "gap" and in the north above the "gap". Note that these experiences are totaly random and you need to get lucky to get it spawn. These two will take a lot of farming.
