With this aura the Paladin basks himself and all he deems faithful in a warm, healing light. His prayers for salvation carry him through the direst situations, allowing him to heal even the deepest wounds in time.
While active, this Aura drains the Paladin's Mana, but adds Life per second to both the hero and his allies of all types.
Although initially it may prove to be useful, the amount of Life it recovers past Act I is simply not significant. It is generally only worth investing a point in Prayer to open up the skill tree. Cleansing and Meditation both achieve the same effect without the associated Mana cost, in addition to their additional benefits.
Prayer can be activated to help keep Hirelings and party members alive in non-intense combat and recover between battles, as the amount of life healed before the next engagement is usually negligible.
