Sanctuary is a superb defensive shield, providing a large boost to defense, high resistances, faster block rate, and charges of Slow Missiles. Physical fighters may derive the most benefit from it as it does not offer any spellcaster-related bonuses. However, any class can benefit from the very high bonus to all resistances and the improved blocking and defense.
