Steel Shade is a unique helm. Although it provides a fair fire absorb, Steel Shade actually offers little other useful bonus besides its life replenish and mana leech, which can be found on other helms such as Vampire Gaze and Tal Rasha's Horadric Crest, making it a poor choice of helm for any class.
