I read one of Brother Malachi's quotes, "What was once one shall become four, though the three shall become one, never will the four be whole." And "one" links to Tathamet, How are we so sure he is talking about the evils, and not Tyreal? All seven became one, as referenced by Diablo "The seven Evils are one within me! I am Legion!" at the begining of the fight. Tyreal became four, "The Stranger" and the three peices of his Sword, The sword becomes one, but Tyreal will never be an angel again. This also matches the other quotes that reference the fallen star and the hero. What are your thoughts on the quote?

Wary of spec, but damn, that's a great point.
I've altered it a bit to point out that it could point to either (as a ref, try to keep spec to a minimum). I think it could apply to either still though, as "three shall become one but never will the four be whole" could be reference to the Great Evils in that the Primes were able to cooperate (see Dark Exile/D2 period) but the Lessers were never unified bar the civil war they waged against the Primes, after which they fell apart immediately. I'm actually inclined to believe more in the Tyrael theory, but I feel both might have merit.--Hawki (talk) 04:26, December 11, 2013 (UTC)
