[edit] Guardians of WOrldstone--> Ancients or not?

let me get it straight, the Ancients that the barbarian are reffering to are (what i have understood) the Nephalem, breeded by Inarius and Lilith.

a Seer went to 2 of the guardians and summmoned them on behalf of the Ancients, whereas the otherone(Malawc) got summoned by the Ancients themselves.

so why do you refer to the guardians, Malawc and so as the Ancients?

have i missed something, or is it infact that when they took upon the oath to safeguard the mountain. that they gained powers Equal to the Ancients?

Yes, your last statement is correct. I am assuming that the role of 'Ancient' is passed down to successors (for some reason). When an Ancient retires (or moves on or something), they choose someone to replace them and grant them the power of the nephalem. Though we don't know how the power is granted exactly, we just know that it is granted.
