Terror's End (quest)

Terror's End is the third and last quest of Act IV. Of the original Diablo II game, this was the final quest as it involved defeating the main antagonist of the game, Diablo himself. The quest is initiated by speaking to the Archangel Tyrael in the Pandemonium Fortress after The Hellforge quest has been completed. When Diablo is defeated, the quest is completed.

In the original game, the game would shut down 60 seconds after Diablo had been defeated, leaving little time to collect loot and for chatting with the denizens of the Pandemonium Fortress. However, for players who bought the expansion, the adventure doesn't end here: speak to Tyrael who will open a portal to the Barbarian city of Harrogath.
