Abd al-Hazir and his cage
The Return of Abd al-Hazir is a short event that may appear in Ruins of Sescheron in Act III of Diablo III (Adventure Mode only).
As the Nephalem wander(s) across the ruined city, they may find the cage and Ice Clan Khazra guarding it. Killing them all (mostly Goatman Brutes) will allow the cage to be opened. Inside, none other than Abd al-Hazir is imprisoned.
Upon being freed and talked to, he immediately rewards player(s) with gold and experience, also promising that the world will know of the Nephalem's deeds. He then follows characters across the ruined city, commenting on Barbarian culture and surroundings, until the Town Portal or a Waypoint is taken to Bastion's Keep. He then leaves peacefully.
Trivia[]
- This event and the Last of the Barbarians event have a possibility of showing up in the same game. If taken together, both Abd al-Hazir and Skular will change their dialogue lines and converse with each other at certain points, with Skular hushing Abd al-Hazir when the party approaches Kanai's throne, and threatening him for not respecting the Barbarians' beliefs.
