"What could be called the remotest part of existence! A place so far from all else that to be trapped here is to be cursed forever."
- Mendeln ul-Diomed and Trag'Oul discussing the Void(src)
The Void is an endless[1] empty realm where individuals can be trapped.[2] The Void is described as being endless darkness, blacker than black and completely empty. In the view of Rathma, being cast into the Void is a fate worse than death.
Lilith was twice banished into the Void by Inarius, though escaped the first time.[2] Inarius also banished Rathma into the Void during the Sin War. Trag'Oul tried to retrieve him but he was too far out of Trag'Oul's reach, so he sent Mendeln in.[3]
