After developing this skill, an Assassin wielding two Claw-class weapons can use her blades to deflect incoming attacks, thus giving herself a defensive edge without using a shield. Weapon Block allows Assassins to use two Katar (or Claw Weapons) while still having Blocking. The effect of this ability will drop severely after a few points, though it is still worth putting at least 10 or 11 points into since even a 1% Increase in Blocking will provide a great amount of protection, but don't go overboard since later in the game you will most likely have a lot of +skill items that will take you a bit higher.
You will only block while standing still or attacking. Weapon Block does not work while walking or running.
The % blocking chance that Weapon Block offers is not affected by anything that would affect a shield's Block Chance; consequently, it is reliable regardless of the Assassin's character level, but her Dexterity and Chance to Block % items do not increase it either.
Weapon Block can defend against some magical attacks that regular blocking does not defend against.
